Lakeea Kelly is an author, Certified Life Coach, and founder of CrownedLady Athletic in Battle Creek, Michigan. Inspired by her own weight loss journey, Lakeea understands firsthand that transformation does not happen overnight. It requires consistency, accountability, and a shift in mindset. Through CrownedLady Athletic, she set out to create a brand that honors women’s unique fitness journeys rather than promoting unrealistic comparisons or “magazine body” standards.

Beyond apparel, Lakeea has built a brand experience rooted in encouragement, boldness, and empowerment.
Before joining MVE-Lab, Lakeea’s biggest challenge was clarity, particularly around positioning and next steps. While her vision and brand were strong, she needed the structure to move forward strategically. Through the program, she gained clarity about her target audience, learned to articulate the specific benefits of her athletic line, and refined how CrownedLady Athletic differentiates itself within a competitive market.
Lakeea plans to expand CrownedLady Athletic through quarterly design launches that incorporate bold signature colors such as hot pink and black, representing confidence, courage, and boldness. As her customer base grows, she intends to introduce new collections that reflect evolving styles while staying true to the brand’s empowering message. She envisions a brand that not only outfits women for the gym but equips them to show up boldly in every area of life.
