I have been working for about 1.5 years on developing a new IV pump that makes it easier for patients to receive medication in their own home so they don’t need to stay in the hospital as long.
What entrepreneur do you admire the most and why?
Johnny Earle – the founder of the clothing brand, Johnny Cupcakes. Johnny Earle is a large advocate for pursuing your passion in life and to “Do more of what makes you happy.” His story and business is what originally inspired me to pursue entrepreneurship.
If you had one piece of advice for other student entrepreneurs, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to take risks and start a business, especially while you’re in school! College is one of the best times to start a business because you don’t have as much to lose. Also, try to take advantage of as many student business plan pitches as possible- they are a fantastic learning experience.
